Alexis Neiers is a bad bad girl!
With fame comes fortune, and with fortune comes bad behavior, well, not entirely true, but it is the truth to some degree. Take for example famous stars like Brittany spears, Lindsay lohan, Paris Hilton and of course the recently arrested Alexis Neiers. These celebrities’ have it all, money, fame, and fortune. Why is it that they still get in trouble? The truth is that money can buy the things that make you happy, but cannot buy happiness. Moreover, with immaturity comes immature behavior. Most celebrities believe just because they are famous, they can get away with any crime. Most of the time it’s a combination of drugs and alcohol that first leads celebrities in jail. Since celebrities make a lot of money, they have a lot of money to burn, and then some. Plus illegal drugs provide a psychological thrill unlike any other. Since celebrities have a lot of money, they can purchase all the drugs they want, and can get high whenever they like. As a result they get jail time. However, in this article we’ll focus on Alexis Neiers.
Most teenagers in the United States, who watch reality shows, are well familiar with Alexis Neiers, Born on June, 20, 1991 . Alexis Neiers who was starred in the reality show “pretty wild”. She starred as an aspiring model in the hit reality show, however, it was her criminal conviction that had landed her jail, and made her case popular amongst reality TV fans. Most fans of that reality show believe that, she got what she deserved.
Media controversy:
After pretty wild went wild with reality TV fans; a website: www.thedirty.com had acquired unauthorized photographs of Alexis Neiers smoking heroin out of a bong. Alexis Neier’s lawyer filed for the pictures to be taken offline, however, the webmaster refused to take them off.
Court case:
Alexis Neiers was accused of multiple house burglaries, where she robbed the homes of several celebrities. After getting caught, she pleaded not guilty during her court trial on November, 16, 2009.
At a later court date, she pleaded no contest on a charge of felony-first degree for robbing the home of Orlando bloom. She received a sentence of 180 days in jail, with 3 years probation. She began to serve her sentence on June 24, 2010 however, after serving only one month, she was released on July 24. She also claimed that just five days before being released, she was shifted next to Lindsay lohans cell. Surprisingly, she claims that she did not engage any sort of conversation with her.
The resulting jail time had no effect on her bad character as a result; she screwed up once again on December 1, 2010 after failing to check in with her probation officer, as a result, officer were dispatched to her location, after the officers arrived at her location, they found tar heroin, as well as the tools needed to smoke it. In addition, officers also found a fake Florida drivers license. Alexis Neiers was ordered to one year of rehab by the court.
